Sylvia and Samuel Babcock Life Enrichments Program
In our nineteen years of serving the Jewish community we have repeatedly learned that the relief of suffering requires more than just treating physical pain. Research supports that providing life enrichment visits to patients and their stressed families goes a long way toward relieving anxiety and bringing a sense of peace and comfort during a very vulnerable time. JHCN has created an innovative pathway to enhance the quality of life for both our home-bound palliative care and hospice patients. We are grateful to Nancy and Jimmy Grosfeld for establishing the Life Enrichments Program in memory of Nancy’s parents, Sylvia and Samuel Babcock (z’l).
Current offerings include: Art, Massage & Reflexology, Music, Natalie and Manny’s Legacy, a life review and memoir writing project, Pet Visits, Salon Services, and Tai Chi
