Sylvia and Samuel Babcock (z’l) Life Enrichments
In our eighteen years of serving the Jewish communitywe have repeatedly discovered that the relief of suffering requires more than treating physical pain. Research supports that providing life enrichments to patients and their stressed families goes a long way in relieving anxiety and bringing a sense of peace and comfort at a very vulnerable time. Because there are currently no Jewish Life Enrichment programs for patients anywhere in our community, we have recently created an innovative pathway to enhance the quality of life for both our home-bound palliative care and hospice patients. We are grateful to Nancy and Jimmy Grosfeld for establishing the Sylvia and Samuel Bacock (z’l) Life Enrichments in memory of Nancy’s parents.
