Dementia Care at JHCN
The Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Network (JHCN) is experiencing a dramatic increase in patients diagnosed with dementia. More than 60% of patients on our census exhibit some form of dementia. To address their unique needs, JHCN offers a range of services tailored to best assist these patients and their family members. JHCN meets each individual on their terms emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, while providing them the highest level of compassionate care.
The Linda and Dennis Deutsch Dementia Care Fund
The Linda and Dennis Deutsch Dementia Care Fund helps JHCN guide family members and caregivers as they face a loved one’s journey with dementia. Patients and families receive spiritual care, social work support and care navigation. The Deutsch Dementia Care Fund helps JHCN fulfill its two-decade mission of bringing patients with a terminal diagnosis the best care possible, ensuring no Jew is ever alone at the end of life.
