no Jewish family
is ever alone
when facing terminal illness.

We bring together the hospice, health care and social service communities to meet the medical, cultural and spiritual needs of you and your family.

The Jewish Professional Women’s Hospice Alliance

The Jewish Hospice & Chaplaincy Network created the Jewish Professional Women’s Hospice Alliance, an affinity group of Jewish women in southeast Michigan whose vocation is helping others as they face the end of life.

Jewish, professional women working in the hospice field — nurses, social workers, rabbis, and JHCN staff — meet in lunch-and-learn sessions with their counterparts at other organizations. Meetings focus on education, Torah study, professional development and skill building. Membership in the JPWHA enhances career success and helps participants better serve the unique needs of Jewish patients, and improves the lives of patients and family members throughout the community.
